Pineapple (Ananas comosus) is an edible tropical plant and is one of the most commercially important plants. Pineapple is enriched with nutrients, antioxidants and other helpful compounds, such as fiber and enzymes that can fight inflammation, heart disease and to prevent cancer and its rich in Vitamin C that helps to boost the immune system.
